To Be a Student

I attended a class recently with Cheryl Mezzitti at Whole Lotta Scrap. It was a last minute sort of thing and I'm glad I went. She is lovely person, talented artist and I could listen all day to her Boston accent, simply charming. I made this art journal and learned some interesting techniques but most of all it was fun to be the student and only concern myself with my project. There was a young lady next to me having a wee bit of difficulty and for half a minute I thought I should help her. Then I remember this wasn't my rodeo and returned my attention to my own project. It felt strange, but good. I'm looking forward to starting in this journal very soon, in fact I have an idea for the first page.
