I have to let you in on a little secret, I’ve been carving stamps! Yep and you know what? It’s really fun, seriously. Now I’m never going to replace Hero Arts but it’s sort nice to know if I need a graphic element stamp for my journal, or my granddaughter wants her name in a stamp I can do it. I was pleased with how easy the rubber was to carve and I love the rustic look of these stamps.

In this class you will learn the basics of stamp carving and will receive a 6”x 6” slab of Speedball Speedy Carve rubber to carve. This is enough rubber to carve a cool burlap background stamp plus several fun smaller stamps including a word or name stamp. You will need a Speedball Linoleum cutter which I can order for you or you can purchase at Michael’s or Hobby Lobby with a coupon. (do not purchase the wooden carver, it’s worthless)
